Why is it alive?
What you see is not a static mock-up: the model is connected to our real office and updates on its own.
- IoT sensors in the office Devices installed in the space continuously measure temperature, humidity, motion and their own battery level.
- The data reaches the platform Every reading is sent and stored with its timestamp, so we keep more than the current value: we keep the history of the space.
- The BIM model represents it The digital twin links each reading to the element it belongs to and shows it there. The thermostat on the wall displays what the sensor in that same room measures.
- You can see the motion sensor The detector in the meeting room sweeps the space with its beam: blue while it scans an empty room and green when it senses presence, and then the people sitting at the table appear.
- The exit door is watched A magnetic contact on the edge of the door reports whether the exit is open or closed. It is the two small black squares on the model: the magnet on the leaf and the sensor on the fixed panel, lighting up amber when they part.
